The Compton Cowboys are rewriting the story of their community.

Rooted in Richland Farms, Compton, the collective uses horsemanship, mentorship and culture to challenge stereotypes and create opportunities for young people. By preserving Black western heritage while investing in the next generation, they're showing that identity, community and positivity can ride side by side.
