NewsFollowing our 50th Anniversary year, today Smiley Originals launches the SMILEY FUTURE POSITIVE CREATORS FUND®, born out of Smiley's sustainability initiative and partnership with the United Nations to deliver UN-SDG Goal 12: responsible production and consumption.
The Smiley Future Positive Creators Fund is comprised of monetary funding and a mentorship program to support game-changing designers at global fashion weeks, helping them to switch to a better, more responsible and circular ideology of design, sourcing and manufacture.
Chet-Lo is an Asian American fashion designer who founded his London-based knitwear brand during the onset of the 2020 pandemic.
Originally from New York City, Chet draws inspiration from his Asian heritage and personal experiences, blending it with current Western aesthetics to create his avant-garde and unique knitwear which features his signature spike-knit designs. As a result, his label has gained a globally devoted fan base and has been worn by high-profile celebrities, including SZA, Doja Cat, Kylie Jenner, Chloe Cherry and Dua Lipa.
