Reebok x Smiley: Happiness in Trainer Form
NewsReebok has picked the perfect design to collaborate with Smiley for its 50th anniversary year: a celebratory collection of shoes spreading uplifting emotions.
They’re bold. They’re colourful – and they have the signature Smiley icon positioned in unique ways.
Each shoe – yes there’s more than one of them – has been created to elicit “positive feelings”, say the brand.
Expect pastel tones, colour blocking, gradients and 3D Smileys. While the shoes may be different – they feature in classic leather, the Nano X2 and Zig Kinetica, for example – they all bind together through their colour and positivity.
“Created to celebrate the iconic Smiley logo’s 50th birthday, these […]shoes are all about feel-good footwear that promotes positive energy,” says Reebok. “Taking inspiration from colour theory, psychotextiles and hidden messaging, this collection emphasises happy colours, satisfying materials and surprising elements to ensure that you look good and feel good everywhere you go."
“They’re happiness in trainer form.”
Smileys can be seen featured on the uppers of the shoe, as well as embroidered along the side.
