Theophilio is a contemporary, Brooklyn-based fashion label founded by Jamaican-American designer Edvin Thompson in 2016. Inspired by his upbringing in Kingston, Jamaica, and his experiences in New York, Thompson’s designs are a celebration of vibrant cultural identities, mixing bold colors, rich textures, and sustainably sourced fabrics. Theophilio’s collections capture the energy of Jamaican dancehall culture while paying homage to New York’s dynamic urban landscape.

As a recipient of the Smiley Future Positive Creators Fund, Theophilio continues to push the boundaries of responsible design, embedding the Smiley ethos into his Spring-Summer 2025 collection, which showcases a fresh, bold take on fashion that honors both creativity and environmental responsibility.
